Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.He was born in 20 may 1983 more popularly known as Jr. N.T.R and YoungNTR.,is an actor.He is a grandson of the late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, who was a sensation, and was the founder of the Telugu Desam Party. He is the son of Harikrishna and Shalini. Called Tarak by his family, friends and close associates; he later changed his name to Taraka Rama Rao in honor of his grandfather. He has two step-brothers: Mr. N. Janaki Ram and Mr. N. Kalyan Ram and one step-sister.

NTR began taking part in movies when he was a child. His first step into Tollywood was with his grandfather's movie Brahmarshi Viswamithra. Coincidentally, his character in the second movie was Lord Sri Rama, a role often played by his grandfather NTR.
After only a few years, Jr. NTR made his re-entry into Tollywood with Ninnu Choodalani in 2001; which was a major hit at the box office. He went on to gain more fame with Student No. 1 (also released in 2001), directed by S.S. Rajamouli. followed by Subbu and Aadi, which was a hit. In January 2003, Tarak came up with Naaga; though the movie raised some worthy political issues, it was bombed at the box-office. However, in July 2003, his movie Simhadri made Tarak and director Rajamouli as household names.
His 2004 release Andhrawala, was a disaster at the box office and the next movie Samba was an average film. His next movie Rakhi, directed by Krishna Vamsi, was a critically acclaimed movie. The next one was Yamadonga, gave tarak a breather to his otherwise dull career. Following Yamadonga, Jr. NTR's next film was Kantri, which was released on May 2008. Very high Range of expectation, the film had bad face on screen with respectable box office collections.

Jr. NTR was one of the star campaigners for the Telugu Desam Party, for the Indian genera election, 2009 from April to May 2009 and attracted public and media. During his drive home to Hyderabad from a meeting in Khammam, he met a road accident with major injuries, and was hospitalized for a few weeks which also postponed one of his ongoing film.
